Preparations
Well, my bags are packed and I am ready for the hospital. Also, I have scheduled an appointment to have my car seat checked (to make sure that it is installed properly). Tomorrow is my last day at Long Meadow and I have everything ready and prepared for my substitute. I can't believe that the baby will be here before we know it! So exciting!!!

Week 37.4 Doctor's Appointment
This morning I had my weekly appointment. My blood pressure is still perfect, and everything is going well. The baby's heartbeat was in the 130's that is the lowest it has been. I still haven't dilated since last week. However, my cervix has thinned and I am 30% effaced.

Baby's Bassinet & Teddy Bear
Here is a photo of the bassinet! Isn't it perfect? Judy Herman made the bedding and even tied our aqua theme into the bassinet. You can see the aqua ribbon laced into the eyelet of the bedding. In the bassinet, we placed the teddy bear that says "Love from Grandma Kuhlman." The teddy bear's onesie was made from one of Grandma K's sweatshirts. The teddy bear is keeping the bassinet safe and warm until the baby arrives. (The bassinet is in the nursery temporarily until we finish the other bedrooms. I will add more photos of the rest of the house as projects are completed.)
Our "Circle of Life" Nursery
The nursery is certainly coming along! The wood floors were installed in all the bedrooms and bedroom hallways last Saturday. So, Bryan worked non-stop on installing all the base moldings and door moldings last week. The baby's furniture arrived on Saturday morning. Soon after the truck left, I started putting things in the closet and dressers. Today, my mom and dad came over and when they saw the nursery it brought tears to their eyes. My mom helped me fold laundry and unpack many things into the baby's room. We put all the bedding on the crib and it looks gorgeous! I took some photos, but I don't think it really does the room justice. It is beautiful! We will certainly have one happy baby!
