Last night was Claire's first night that she slept in her bassinet without being swaddled. She had her arms out, but was still wrapped around her waist. We decided not to swaddle her because on Wednesday night she fell asleep on the couch. She looked so cute. Bryan said that she looked like a little person. She had her arm up over her head and one leg bent at the knee and sticking up in the air.
So, last night I said I would try leaving her arms loose. (We tried doing that in the past, but she hated it and would cry. She never slept through the night unless she was swaddled tightly.) However, last night she did great. She fell asleep around 10:30 am, woke up (with Daddy) for a bottle at 5:30am, and didn't wake up again until 9 am.
Our little girl is growing up.
